A 30-year-old Arnold woman was arrested after she allegedly was found with illegal drugs in her bra. The woman was arrested outside the CVS pharmacy, 2120 Lone Star Drive, Arnold Police reported.

Officers were called to the business t about 2:20 a.m. June 21 because the woman and a man she was with had been in the store for about 30 minutes, and an employee believed the pair might have been trying to steal items. The employee told officers she had seen the man place an electric nail file under his arm at one point, but then he no longer had the item and the employee could not find it in the store, the report said.

Before entering the store, officers saw a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer in the parking lot. They allegedly saw what appeared to be a smoking pipe on the passenger seat of the SUV, the report said.

Police questioned the man and woman, who reportedly had been arrested before for shoplifting, and the nail file was discovered on a shelf in the store, the report said.

Officers asked the woman if she had anything illegal in her possession, and she first said no but then reportedly confessed to having marijuana after a police dog was brought to the scene. The dog indicated there might be illegal drugs in the woman’s purse, and officers allegedly found a jar containing marijuana, according to the report.

Police also allegedly found five smoking pipes in the Trailblazer and 31 capsules containing a substance believed to be either methamphetamine or heroin in the woman’s bra. The woman was arrested and taken to the Police Station, where she was booked and released pending application for warrants, and the man was released at the scene, the report said.

Depending on results of the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, Detective Lt. Jason Valentine said.
