Arnold Police are trying to find a man they believe stole a motorcycle from outside Comtrea, 21 Municipal Drive. The Missouri State Highway Patrol recovered the 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycle in the Festus area, where it was involved in a two-vehicle accident, Arnold Police Capt. Rich Shular said.

Details of the accident and the condition of the motorcycle were not available, he said.

The theft happened between 3:05-3:12 p.m. Oct. 5. The victim, a 29-year-old Manchester man, told police he had parked the bike outside where he works and shortly after sitting at his desk, he heard the motorcycle start up. The man said he had left the keys with the motorcycle, the report said.

Four days later the motorcycle was recovered, Shular said.

He said employees at a gas station near the accident site identified the man who allegedly was riding the motorcycle, and police are looking for him.
