The Arnold Police are investigating two early-morning thefts from the Walmart store, 2201 Michigan Ave. Wire that was to be used during an upcoming remodeling project was stolen from behind the store, police reported.
Arnold Police reported approximately $12,000 worth of wire was stolen from behind the store at about 5 a.m. May 15 and at 3:25 a.m. May 16. The wire belonged to AMCON, the report said.
A red pickup with an extended cab hauling a utility trailer was seen in surveillance video at the time of each theft, according to the report.
As of May 22, none of the stolen wire had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the thefts to call the Arnold Police at 636-282-2384.
