Fences and vehicles recently were vandalized at five homes in the same Arnold neighborhood, Arnold Police report.

The vandalism occurred between 7:35 p.m. July 31 and 7:35 a.m. Aug. 1, when someone damaged fences at two homes in the 1800 block of Dina Avenue and at one in the 1800 block of Laverne Drive, the report said.

In addition, the culprits damaged vehicles parked at two homes in the 1900 block of Laverne Drive, according to the report.

At one of the Dina Avenue homes, someone spray painted about 75 feet of vinyl fence, causing about $250 in damage, the report said.

About 135 feet of vinyl fence was spray painted at the home in the 1900 block of Laverne Drive, and that damage was estimated at $400, according to the report.

The vinyl fence at the other home on Dina Avenue was knocked down, and the culprit threw chairs, tables and planters into the victim’s pool, causing about $200 damage there, the report said.

At one of the homes in the 1900 block of Laverne Drive, someone threw a greasy chemical on a Toyota Tundra pickup parked there, causing about $200 in damage, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.

The same kind of chemical was thrown on a Ford Escape parked at the other home in the 1900 block of Laverne Drive, and that damage was valued at about $200, Ruckman said.

The neighborhood lies between Lonedell and the West Outer roads.

As of today (Aug. 7), there were no suspects or arrests, Ruckman said.
