Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a Yeti cooler from a pickup parked outside the Drury Inn and Suites, 3800 Hwy. 141. The pickup, which belonged to a 56-year-old Box Springs, Ga., man, was broken into between 10 p.m. March 16 and 7 a.m. March 17, authorities reported.
It looked like the culprit punched out the lock on the victim’s 2015 Ford F-350 to get inside the pickup and then stole the cooler out of it. The cooler was valued at $250, and the damage to the pickup was estimated at $250, a report said.
As of March 26, the cooler had not been recovered and there were no suspects, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
