Arnold Police are trying to locate a man who was driving a dark blue Chevrolet Malibu and allegedly got into an altercation with a teenager outside a home in the 400 block of Kathryn Drive. The apparent road-rage incident stemmed from an encounter on Jeffco Boulevard, police reported.

At about 9:30 p.m. July 13, a 19-year-old Arnold man may have cut off a Malibu while driving on Jeffco Boulevard. Arnold Police did not provide a description of the vehicle the teen was driving.

The man driving the Malibu reportedly followed the teen to a home on Katheryn Drive and allegedly confronted the teen about the incident. The teen allegedly flourished a gun as the man approached him, but the man knocked the gun out of the teen’s hand and into the street, according to the report.

The suspect, who appeared to be between 35 and 40 years old, then allegedly choked the teen, but he was stopped by a passerby. The suspect then got into the Malibu and drove away, Arnold Police reported.

As of July 22, the suspect had not been identified, Maj. Clinton Wooldridge said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
