An 18-year-old Arnold man was arrested for allegedly shattering the rear window on a car parked outside a home in the 3400 block of Rockwood Forest. The incident happened late on New Year’s Eve, Arnold Police reported.
Police were called to the home at about noon Jan. 1, and a 31-year-old Arnold man said the rear window on his 2013 Ford Focus was shattered overnight. The victim reported finding a hammer in his driveway, and the damage was estimated to be $300, the report said.
Police were able to identify the 18-year-old as a suspect, and he was arrested on Jan. 5. While being interviewed, the man allegedly admitted to breaking the window, according to the report.
He was issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for property damage, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
