A 36-year-old Florissant woman was arrested in Arnold for alleged possession of heroin. She was arrested at 10:29 p.m. Dec. 6 after she was found asleep in a parked car outside Walmart, 2201 Michigan Ave, Arnold Police reported.

Police found her passed out in a Nissan Altima and woke her up. Officers spotted a change purse on the passenger-side seat and allegedly found three small straws with residue and two capsules that appeared to contain heroin inside the purse, the report said.

She already was wanted on two warrants from the Florissant Police Department. The woman was arrested and taken to the Arnold Police Station, where she was booked and held for the Florissant Police, according to the report.

Depending on the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
