Arnold Police got a call at 6:30 p.m. July 11 that a 32-year-old Arnold man was causing a disturbance at the 7-Eleven store, 3695 West Outer Road, and ended up arresting him for trespassing and peace disturbance. The man, who is homeless, was on the parking lot asking people for money and has been arrested numerous times for similar incidents, Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones said.

He said Arnold Police have tried to get the man help, but he refuses it. After the latest incident, he was booked and then transported to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office where he was wanted for trespassing.

Since the man is a repeat offender, Arnold Police will seek charges against him through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. As of July 20, no charges had been filed, Jones said.
