An antique chest filled with collectible toys and other items recently were stolen from a Mr. B’s storage unit in the 6600 block of Hwy. 61-67 in Imperial, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Between 9 a.m. Dec. 21 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 24, someone removed a lock from a storage unit at the business and stole about $1,200 in items, the report said.

In addition to the treasure chest-style antique chest filled with toys, stolen items included a Buckmaster compound bow with sights and two black bolt-pattern rims and Cooper tires, according to the report.

As of Wednesday (Jan. 6), the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Lt. Gary Higginbotham of the Sheriff’s Office.
