Adrianna R. King, 19, of Dittmer allegedly assaulted a family member and a man she was in a relationship with at a home in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton. She also allegedly bit and kicked deputies and damaged a patrol vehicle while being arrested, according to court documents.
King has been charged with two counts of second-degree assault, class D felonies; third-degree domestic assault, a class E felony; four counts of fourth-degree assault, class A misdemeanors; resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor; and second-degree property damage, a class B misdemeanor, court records show.
As of Sept. 21, she was being held on a $25,000 bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, court documents said.
Deputies were called on Sept. 1 to a home in the 600 block of Chancellor Lane in the Fenton area because of the alleged attacks. King hit a man and woman multiple times, and she hit the man with a brick and threw a piece of cinderblock at the woman, according to the case’s probable-cause statement.
Deputies arrested King as she was walking away from the home. She told the deputies she had been drinking, the report said.
King also became combative with the deputies and allegedly tried to kick and bite them while she was being arrested. Deputies reported they were kicked several times after handcuffing King, according to the report.
King also was restrained by leg hobbles, but she was able to slip out of the hobbles after being placed in a patrol vehicle. She then damaged the vehicle’s dashboard and a window, the report said.
King was then secured by leg shackles and taken to Jefferson County Jail, where she continued to try to kick and bite deputies, according to the report.
Class D felonies are punishable by up to seven years in prison, and a class E felony carries a penalty of up to four years in prison. A class A misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year in a jail and a fine of up to $2,000, and a class B misdemeanor carries a penalty of up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.
