Arnold Police are investigating the theft of items from a heating and cooling company’s van outside of a home in the 1900 block of Glatt Drive. Two windows were shattered, police reported.
A 49-year-old Arnold man, who works for Academy Air, said he parked the company’s 2016 Dodge Promaster van outside the home on Oct. 20. During the overnight hours, the van’s front passenger’s side window and rear window were shattered, the report said.
The man reported the theft at about 8:30 a.m. Oct. 21. A Uniweld vacuum pump, numerous Milwaukee drills and batteries and hand tools were stolen, according to the report.
An estimated cost to repair the broken windows and approximate value of the stolen tools were not available, the report said.
As of Oct. 30, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
