It’s almost time for the three-day 2025 Pevely Days festival.
The event mainly will take place Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 14-16, at Pevely City Park, 60 Main St., but a related car show hosted by STL Stangs Mustang club is set for Aug. 16 along the city’s Main Street.
Admission to the festival is free.
Pevely Mayor Steve Markus said the festival has become a popular event many people look forward to each year.
“It’s our big festival of the year,” he said. “There are rides for the kids. There are vendors for the adults.”
In addition to carnival rides and vendors, the festival will include live music, a cornhole tournament, fireworks and other family-friendly activities, like a free petting zoo and free caricatures. While many activities are free, some come with a cost.
Aug. 14 is “Family Night,” the only day of the festival when wristbands for unlimited carnival rides will be offered for purchase. The other days, rides are sold by the ticket.
Live music will be performed each day, with Earcandy playing the evening of Aug. 14, the All4nothin Band playing the evening of Aug. 15 and Steve Kirn performing during the day on Aug. 16 and Crossroads playing that evening.
Linda Miles, Pevely’s deputy city clerk and an event organizer, said this year’s Pevely Days includes more live music than usual, and all the performers are making their debuts at the festival.
“They’ve all been recommended by other cities, “ Miles said.
A fireworks display is scheduled for 9 p.m. Aug. 16.
Markus said the city puts on Pevely Days for the residents.
“Come out and have fun,” he said.
