The southbound I-55 exit ramp to Hwy. 67 south of Festus will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, through Friday, Aug. 7, for construction.
In an Aug. 4 written statement, the Missouri Department of Transportation reported that crews will be removing and replacing sections of pavement on the exit ramp from southbound I-55 to Hwy. 67. All work is weather-dependent, according to the statement.
“Drivers are encouraged to exit southbound I-55 at Hwy. A, turn left and travel on Hwy. A to Hwy. 61-67,” MoDOT stated. “Alternatively, drivers may use Exit 174 to reach Hwy. 67. All detours will be signed.”
