The Missouri Department of Transportation closed a northbound lane of I-55 south of Hwy. Z in Pevely this morning for emergency pavement repair.
The lane will remain closed until 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, MoDOT said in a written statement.
Department officials advise travelers to consider alternate routes or give themselves extra time to travel through the emergency repair area as backups are expected.
