The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking public input on a corridor study it is conducting on a section of Hwy. 61-67 in Jefferson County.

MoDOT officials in a written statement issued today, May 14, said the department “is looking at potential traffic and safety improvements” to Hwy. 61-67 from Hwy. 231 (Telegraph Road in Arnold) to Hwy. Z (in Pevely). As part of the project, the public is encouraged to ask questions or share feedback concerning areas along the corridor, according to the statement.

The public may take a survey or attend a meeting to participate in the effort to study potential traffic and safety improvements.

This study will examine how the roadway functions today and how it can better serve the community in the future, the statement said.

Those interested may complete a survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/US61-67Survey by July 31. The first public meeting is planned in July on a date to be determined.
