Leader Publications has a pair of Trivia Night events on the horizon. One is part of the upcoming annual Twin City Days and the other kicks off Arnold Days.
■ Twin City Days Trivia is planned for Thursday (Sept. 9) at Festus High School, 501 Westwind Drive. Proceeds from the event will benefit CASA of Jefferson County, a program that provides support to children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. Snacks like popcorn and pretzels will be provided. Soft drinks, water and candy will be sold by the Festus High School Band Boosters. Outside food and drinks are allowed, but alcohol and tobacco are prohibited.
■ Arnold Days Trivia is set for Thursday (Sept. 16) under a large tent set up on the former tennis courts at Arnold City Park, which is on Bradley Beach Road off Jeffco Boulevard near the Meramec River.
For both events, doors open at 6:30 p.m. and questions start at 7 p.m. The cost is $10 per person, and advance registration is recommended. Those who wish to play but are not part of an organized team are welcome to come and join other solo players or another team.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. Giveaways will be included at both events.
