UPDATE: The time for today's (July 28) food distribution is 2-4 p.m.

The Fox C-6 School District is teaming up with the St. Louis Area Food Bank to help provide meals for those in need.

Fox and the food bank will hold a free “mobile market” from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or until all meals have been distributed, Tuesday (June 30) at the Fox C-6 Service Center, 849 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. A second mobile market is scheduled from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the service center.

Those who need food may come to the service center parking lot and receive five days’ worth of meals for free. Those who come for food will be asked to remain in their vehicles, and volunteers will deliver the food to them.

“I am so glad we have been able to partner with the St. Louis Area Food Bank to provide this opportunity for our community,” said Gail Jones, Fox’s director of nutrition services. “This partnership allows us to provide nutritious meals for those in our community who need support.”
