There haven’t been many contested elections for seats on the Cedar Hill Lakes Board of Trustees since the village was incorporated in 1973, but on April 5, voters in the village will have a reason to go to the polls.

The last time there was a contested election for trustee seats was April 2000, when three candidates ran for one seat on the board.

This year, incumbents Timothy Gray and Zachariah Ravelette are running for new two-year terms, and they’re joined on the ballot by Melanie Hudson.

None returned a Leader candidate questionnaire.
