A senior manager of economic development with Ameren will be a guest speaker at data center developer CRG’s second Festus data center webinar from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, via WebEx.

CRG of St. Louis announced in late 2025 its plan to develop a hyperscale data center on 361 acres north of Hwy. 67 and west of Hwy. CC. CRG, which is the St. Louis-based data center development arm for Clayco, has estimated the cost of developing the facility at $6 billion. In the Festus project, CRG would develop the property, and then a data center company would operate it, although no operator has yet been identified.

On July 22, CRG hosted its first Festus data center webinar; it may be viewed on the Festus Forward website, festusforward.com.

As with the company’s first webinar, those wishing to participate in Tuesday’s webinar need to register, which they can do by going to the Festus Forward website and clicking “Events & Webinars.”

According to information from CRG, the guest speaker on the second webinar will be James O’Mara, senior manager, economic development, at Ameren. Participants may submit questions for Ameren prior to the event through the Festus Forward website.
