Grace Presbyterian Church in Crystal City is holding a Prayer Vigil and Call to Action at 6 p.m. Friday (Feb. 23) on the church grounds “to mourn the loss of lives to gun violence, to ask for comfort for the living and to call our Congress members to take action,” according to a flier from the church.
If it is raining, the vigil will be held inside the church, 105 Bailey Road.
Everyone is welcome.
After the vigil, those who attend will be given a chance “to contact your Congress members to demand they do something before it happens again,” the flier said. Attendees will also have the opportunity to write notes of love and support for the students, faculty and staff in Parkland, Fla.
