Players are needed for the two upcoming trivia nights – the Twin City Days Trivia Night on Thursday night (Sept. 5) in Festus, and the Arnold Days Trivia Night on Thursday, Sept. 19, in Arnold.
Twin City Days trivia
The Twin City Days Trivia Night will be held at the Festus Intermediate School, 1501 Midmeadow Lane. Doors open at 7 p.m. and trivia starts at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $10 per player and includes snacks. Beverages will be available for purchase. Outside food and drink are welcome, but no alcohol or tobacco products are allowed.
Teams of up to eight players will compete for cash prizes by answering questions in categories like music, sports, history, pop culture and more. Individual players are welcome as well; they will be assigned to a team. (And those spur-of-the-moment teams can be deadly – they’ve been known to take home cash some years!)
For the second year, proceeds from the event will benefit the local CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program, which provides one-on-one court advocacy for abused, neglected or abandoned children who are part of the foster care system.
Leader Publications organizes the trivia night, part of the Twin City Days festival that runs through Saturday, Sept. 7.
Arnold Days trivia

Arnold Days festivities will continue Friday through Sunday, Sept. 20-22, with most activities at Arnold City Park.
