Visitors to the West Side Senior Expo will have the chance to win a grand prize trip for four to Branson, including lodging, show tickets and more.
The expo is set for 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 27, at Northwest High School, 6005 Cedar Hill Road, near Hwy. 30 in Cedar Hill and will feature a full slate of entertainment, information, education and fun for those 50 and older. Admission and parking are free.
In addition, free coffee and doughnuts will be served while supplies last.
A limited number of vendor spaces are still available. Businesses and individuals who have a product or service of interest to those 50 and older are encouraged to call the Leader to reserve a booth.
Visitors to the expo are encouraged to head for the Leader Publications booth to enter a drawing for the grand-prize trip to Branson, courtesy of the Branson Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The winner and three guests will enjoy two nights at the Hilton of Branson, tickets to illusionist Rick Thomas’ “Mansion of Dreams” show and passes to enjoy jet boats, Track Family Fun Park and the Branson Ferris Wheel.
The winner will have until July 31, 2023, to schedule the trip.
There is a limit of one entry per person for the drawing, and you must be present to win.
“Branson is just such a great destination for people of all ages,” Leader publisher Peggy Scott said. “Take a couple of friends, take your grandkids. It should be a really fun time.”
A special section will appear in the July 21 issue of the Leader with stories and schedules about the Senior Expo.
The section also will include entries from the “Picture Your Pet” photo contest, in which readers were encouraged to send in snapshots of Spot or Fluffy to win cash prizes.
