The Arnold License Office has relocated and is under new management.
The License Office began operating today, June 10, in the Richardson Crossing retail center that also houses a Culver’s restaurant.
The License Office is at 108 Richardson Crossing in the space that used to house the former Corridor 55, the Missouri Department of Revenue announced.
Corridor 55 was a shared workspace the city of Arnold ran from 2014 to April 2020.
The License Office was located at 3540 Jeffco Blvd. until its closure on June 6.
Schmidt Management is the License Office’s new operator. The company submitted one of five bids to operate the License Office and was awarded the contract on Feb. 1, according to the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The company operates two other license offices in the state in Nevada and Harrisonville, said Schmidt Management owner Paul Schmidt.
The Arnold Jaycees had operated the Arnold License Office since 1972, said Lori Crutchley, the Jaycees president and former License Office business manager. She said the organization did not submit a bid for the most recent contract to operate it.
