Aaron M. Jeffries, 32, of Valles Mines was seriously injured Friday afternoon (Dec. 10) in a one-vehicle accident at Labadie Bottom and Labadie Power Plant roads in Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 12:37 p.m., Jeffries was driving a 2016 Ford Escape south on Labadie Bottom Road, and the SUV ran off the right side of the road, where it struck a tree, the report said.
He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where he was listed in satisfactory condition Friday evening, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Jeffries was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The SUV was totaled, the report said.
