Two women were injured Saturday afternoon (Jan. 23) in a traffic accident that involved eight vehicles on Hwy. 141 south of Gravois Road in Fenton in St. Louis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Nicholle Johnson, 44, of Fenton was driving north on Hwy. 141 at 1:07 p.m. when the front of her 2003 Lexus RX300 hit the right rear of a 2017 Honda Civic driven by Thomas Parker, 63, of St. Louis, that was in the left-turn lane at Gravois Road. The Civic swerved to the right and hit the left side of a 2017 Nissan Sentra, driven by Terry Rogers-Miller, 44, of House Springs. The Lexus continued forward and hit a 2016 Rosenbauer Viper truck driven by Andrew Erickson, 38, of Fenton, and then a 2019 Honda Odyssey driven by Kyle Warren, 31, of High Ridge, and a 2012 Honda Civic driven by Timothy Braun, 65, of Fenton. The Lexus continued north and then struck a 2003 Nissan Xterra driven by Craig Devant, 28, of St. Louis, and a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Jennifer Granda, 46, of St. Louis.
Johnson suffered serious injuries and was taken by the Fenton Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, the report said. The report included no mention of injury to any of the other drivers, but a passenger in the Honda Odyssey, Emily Warren, 34, of High Ridge, sustained moderate injuries and she was taken to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County by the Fenton Fire Protection District.
Updates on their conditions were not available.
Johnson was not wearing a seat belt, the report said; all others involved in the accident were wearing seat belts.
The Lexus and Dodge Grand Caravan were totaled and the Xterra and Odyssey had extensive damage, the report said. The other vehicles had minor damage.
