A House Springs woman was serious condition following a crash on Hwy. 30 at Little Brennan Road in Murphy, an unincorporated area outside Fenton, on Monday, Nov. 27, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:34 p.m., Ryan A. Hurst, 26, of Festus was driving an eastbound 2015 Ford F550 and allegedly drove through a red light, striking the left side of a northbound 2021 Buick Encore driven by Dorris J. Turner, 77, of House Springs, the report said.
Turner was moderately injured, and two of her passengers, Jeremiah Wheeler, 23, and a 17-year-old boy, both from House Springs, had minor injuries, the report said. All were taken by Fenton Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County.
According to a hospital spokesman, Wheeler was treated and released, and Turner was in serious condition as of Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Both drivers and the injured passengers were wearing seat belts, the Buick was totaled, and the Ford was moderately damaged, the report said.
The patrol did not release the teenager’s name because he is a juvenile.
