Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash early on Thanksgiving (Nov. 22) in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
According to the report, about 1 a.m. a 2005 GMC Sierra pickup driven by Theresa L. Bahr, 67, of Dittmer was stopped at a red light on westbound Hwy. 30 at Hwy. PP when a 2007 Mercury Sable car driven westbound by Matthew A. Richardson, 36, of Cedar Hill failed to stop. The front of the Sable struck the rear of the Sierra, the patrol reported.
Richardson was taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South (formerly St. Anthony’s Medical Center) in St. Louis County with serious injuries. Bahr and a passenger in her vehicle, Andrew O. Wirtel, 17, Dittmer, were taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Bahr was listed with moderate injuries and Wirtel was listed with minor injuries.
Both vehicles were totaled, Bahr and Wirtel were wearing seat belts and Richardson was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
