Two 16-year-old boys, one from Cedar Hill and the other from House Springs, were seriously injured Tuesday night, Jan. 23, in a crash at highways 30 and B in Cedar Hill, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 10:40 p.m., the Cedar Hill teenager was driving south in a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze and allegedly ran a red light, and the front of an eastbound 2018 Ford Expedition driven by Cynthia Brand, 68, of Dittmer struck the right side of the Cruze, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Brand.
However, the teen driver and a passenger, the House Springs teen, were taken by Big River Ambulance to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, according to the report.
Neither teen was wearing a seat belt, and Brand was wearing one, the patrol reported.
Both vehicles were totaled, the report said.
The patrol did not release the teens’ names because they are juveniles.
