A 17-year-old Fenton girl was injured Dec. 22 in a one-car accident at Saline Road and Kohnen Drive in unincorporated Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:57 p.m., the girl was driving a 2001 Honda Accord on Saline Road and began to skid, and the car ran off the right side of the road, where it struck an embankment and overturned, the report said.
She was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
The girl was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
The highway patrol did not release the girl’s name because she is a juvenile.
