A St. Louis woman was injured in a crash on I-55 north of Imperial Main Street on Friday, Aug. 16, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:38 a.m., Joshua L. Merli, 43, of Barnhart was driving a southbound 2018 Jeep Compass when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a guardrail and overturned, the report said.
A passenger in the Jeep, Tiffany L. Nahlik, 35, was seriously injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
According to a hospital spokeswoman, Nahlik was treated and released.
Merli was wearing a seat belt, Nahlik was not, and the Jeep was totaled, the report said.
