A St. Louis man was hurt Tuesday morning (June 2) in a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. 30 and Northwest Boulevard in unincorporated Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 9:25 a.m., Johnny R. Marcrum, 46, of St. Louis was driving a 2002 GMC 3500 pickup west on the highway and while turning onto Northwest Boulevard, Timothy R. Sutton, 33, of St. Louis, driving an eastbound 2007 Kia Sorento SUV, failed to stop in time and struck the pickup, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Sutton. However, Marcrum was moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said today (June 3).
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The pickup was totaled, and the SUV was extensively damaged, the report said.
