James S. Williams, 57, of Pacific was injured Sunday, Sept. 18, in a motorcycle accident on Hwy. F south of Bogey Hill Drive in the Jefferson County portion of Pacific, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7:30 p.m., Williams was riding south on a 2007 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide when a deer crossed his path and the motorcycle struck the deer, the report said.
Williams was moderately injured and taken by Meramec Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesperson said.
According to the report, he was wearing a helmet and the Glide was extensively damaged.
