A House Springs woman was injured Dec. 22 in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 67 south of Montauk Drive southwest of Festus, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7:15 p.m., Megan D. Tatum, 30, of House Springs was driving a 2011 Honda Fit south on the highway and allegedly was inattentive, and the front of the car struck the rear of a southbound 2008 Ford Ranger driven by Daniel W. Tibbott, 61, of Bourg, La., the report said.
No injuries were reported for Tibbott.
However, Tatum was moderately injured and taken by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, according to the report.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Fit was totaled, and the Ranger was moderately damaged, the report said.
