A De Soto woman was injured this morning, May 4, in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. V north of Papin Road between De Soto and Valles Mines, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:05 a.m., Mary E. Youngblood, 64, was driving a 2019 Jeep Wrangler south on the highway and ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch, the report said.
Youngblood was moderately injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
However, the hospital had no information about her, a Mercy spokesman said.
According to the report, Youngblood was not wearing a seat belt, and the Jeep was extensively damaged.
