A 78-year-old Hillsboro woman was injured July 26 when the SUV she was driving ran off Hwy. B and struck a sign, tree and parked pickup.
Linda J. Stukey, 78, of Hillsboro was injured July 26 in a traffic accident on Hwy. B north Forest Drive west of Hillsboro, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6 p.m., she was driving a northbound 2023 GMC Terrain and ran off the left side of the road, where the SUV struck a chevron sign and a tree before striking a 2021 Ram 1500 pickup that was parked in a private driveway. No one was inside the pickup, according to the report.
Stukey sustained minor injuries and was taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
She was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The SUV was totaled, and the pickup was moderately damaged, the report said.
