Three High Ridge teenagers were injured Thursday afternoon, July 6, in a one-vehicle crash on West Four Ridge Road north of Hope Lane in the High Ridge area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:25 p.m., Lillian M. Stuerman, 19, of High Ridge was driving a southbound 2005 Chrysler Pacifica and failed to negotiate a curve, and the SUV ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree, the report said.
Stuerman was moderately injured, a 17-year-old High Ridge girl who was riding in the SUV was seriously injured and another passenger – Alexia M. Short, 18, of High Ridge – was moderately injured, the report said
Stuerman was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the 17-year-old was taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis and Short was taken by private conveyance to Mercy Hospital South, according to the report.
No information about their conditions was available today, July 8.
None of the three teens was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The SUV was totaled, the report said.
The highway patrol did not release the 17-year-old girl’s name because she is a juvenile.
