Kevin L. Wade, 56, of High Ridge was seriously injured late Friday afternoon, March 29, in a motorcycle accident on Hwy. 30 west of New Sugar Creek Road in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:25 p.m., Wade was riding a 2005 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide motorcycle west on the highway and lost control of the bike, which overturned, throwing him off the motorcycle, the report said.
He was taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County.
Wade was not wearing a helmet, or at least not a Department of Transportation-approved one, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle was extensively damaged, the report said.
