A Grubville woman was injured Tuesday evening, Feb. 27, in a one-car accident on Hwy. 30 west of Pierce Creek Road near Lonedell in Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7:05 p.m., Kathryn J. Heintz, 63, of Grubville was driving a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta west on the highway and struck a deer, the report said.
She was moderately injured and taken by St. Clair Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, according to the report.
Heintz was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was extensively damaged, the report said.
