A Barnhart man was hurt Wednesday when the car he was driving on Hwy. M was struck by a pickup driven by a Farmington man who was trying to make a U-turn.
A Barnhart man was injured Wednesday morning, Aug. 9, in a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. M and Old Hwy. M in Barnhart, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 9:33 a.m., Abel D. Cardos, 28, of Farmington was driving a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup east on Hwy. M, and while he was trying to make a U-turn, the front left side of the pickup struck the front right side of an eastbound 2005 Toyota Camry driven by Justin M. Roberts, 24, of Barnhart, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Cardos. However, Roberts was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The pickup was moderately damaged, and the car was extensively damaged, the report said.
