Joshua J. Hunt, 46, of High Ridge was seriously injured Saturday evening, May 25, in a motorcycle crash on Hwy. 30 west of the Jefferson County line in Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:37 p.m., Hunt was riding a 2002 Harley-Davidson Softail Standard east on the highway and when he was cresting a hill, he did not see a turtle in the road and struck it, causing the motorcycle to overturn onto its left side, the report said.
Hunt was taken by St. Clair Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
He was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle was moderately damaged, the report said.
