Brittany C. England, 27, of Imperial was hurt May 21 in a one-vehicle accident on Montebello Road near Chimney Rock Drive in Imperial, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:20 p.m., England was driving a 2015 Ford Escape west on Montebello Road, and she swerved right to avoid a deer before the front of the SUV struck a fence, small tree and utility pole, the report said.
England was moderately hurt and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County.
She was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The SUV was totaled, the report said.
