Sheila M. James, 53, of High Ridge was injured Monday evening (Nov. 23) in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 30 at Little Brennan Road in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:50 p.m., James was driving a southbound 2002 Infiniti QX4, and Mary H. Turner, 48, of Hillsboro, who was headed west in a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer, allegedly ran a red light and struck the Infiniti, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Turner.
James was moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
James was wearing a seat belt, and Turner was not wearing one, the patrol reported.
The Infiniti was totaled, and the Trailblazer was moderately damaged, the report said.
