Sierra N. Riggins, 22, of Gerald was seriously hurt this morning (May 10) in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. B south of Hwy. C in the Hillsboro area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 8:24 a.m., Riggins was driving a 2014 Ford Focus north on Hwy. B and while being “inattentive,” the car ran off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail, the report said.
Riggins was taken by Big River Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said this afternoon.
She was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
