Dawn M. McPherson, 47, of Festus was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 1, in a two-vehicle accident on Old Hwy. 21 south of Hayden Road north of Hillsboro, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At. 3:04 p.m., Samantha S. Landers, 26, of Desloge was driving north in a 2017 Jeep Compass and crossed the center line, and the front left side of the Jeep struck the left front side of a southbound 365 Conventional semi-truck driven by McPherson, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Landers.
McPherson was taken by Valle Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Both McPherson and Landers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Jeep was totaled and the truck had minor damage.
