Irvin T. Robertson, 27, of Festus was seriously injured early Monday morning (March 22) in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. DD near Oak Drive in Ste. Genevieve County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3 a.m., Robertson was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox south on the highway, crossed the center line and ran off the east side of the road, where the SUV struck a tree, the report said.
He was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
However, the hospital had no information about him, a Mercy spokesman said.
Robertson was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The SUV was totaled, the report said.
