Raymond A. Guzy, 60, of Festus was hurt Thursday night (April 16) in a one-car accident on Hwy. E south of Primrose Drive in St. Francois County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 9:55 p.m., Guzy was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt north on the highway and ran off the left side of the road, where the car struck a fence and a tree and then overturned, the report said.
He was moderately injured and taken by St. Francois County Ambulance to Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre.
Guzy was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
