A 43-year-old Fenton woman and 64-year-old Cedar Hill man were injured Tuesday morning, Nov. 22, in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy. 30 and Delores Drive in Murphy, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At about 6:40 a.m., Tamara L. Sigman, was driving a 2007 Honda Odyssey west on Hwy. 30 when she made a left turn, traveling into the path of an eastbound 1998 Honda CR-V driven by Thomas R. Kerchner. The CR-V struck the side of the Odyssey, which went off the road and hit a sign, the report said.
Sigman and Kerchner were moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where both were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said today, Nov. 23.
According to the report, Sigman was wearing a seat belt, but Kerchner was not.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged, the report said.
