Amie A. Addison, 30, of Dittmer was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon, July 27, in a one-vehicle accident on Township Lane west of Joyce Lane near Dittmer, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:10 p.m., Addison was driving west in a 2015 Toyota Tacoma when she failed to negotiate a right turn in the road and ran off the left side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned, the report said.
Addison was taken by Big River Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesperson said.
According to the report, Addison was not wearing a seat belt and the Tacoma was moderately damaged.
