Connie J. Ames, 66, of Dittmer was moderately injured Thursday afternoon (March 22) in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. HH south of Calvey Creek Road in Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 2:45 p.m., Ames was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Trax north on Hwy. HH, and she failed to negotiate a turn and the SUV traveled off the road, struck a ditch and overturned, the report said.
She was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where she was listed in satisfactory condition Friday (March 23), a hospital spokeswoman said.
The Trax was totaled, the patrol’s reported.
Ames was wearing a seat belt, the report said.
